Day 1

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s unbeaten 173 and Sai Sudharsan’s half-century put India in a strong position on the opening day of the second Test match.

Day 2

On day two, Spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav shared four wickets, while Shubman Gill’s unbeaten century propelled India to a total of 518.

Day 3

On day three, John Campbell and Shai Hope scored unbeaten fifties as the West Indies fought back, but Kuldeep Yadav’s five-wicket haul forced the follow-on.

Day 4

On day four, India needed 58 runs to complete a 2-0 series whitewash after centuries from John Campbell and Shai Hope.

Day 5

On the fifth and final day, KL Rahul’s unbeaten half-century guided India to chase down 121 runs, securing Shubman Gill’s first series win with a 2-0 whitewash over the West Indies.

India posted 518 for 5 declared in 134.2 overs with Yashasvi Jaiswal was the top-scorer - who cracked 175 off 258 balls - his 7th Test century and second against the West Indies - featuring 22 fours.

Shubman Gill smashed an unbeaten 129 off 196 balls - his 10th Test century and first against the West Indies - contained 16 fours and 2 sixes with a strike rate of 65.81.

Sai Sudharsan contributed 87 off 165 balls featuring 12 fours, Dhruv Jurel added 44 off 79 balls hitting 5 fours, Nitish Kumar Reddy smacked a 43 off 54 balls including 4 fours and 2 sixes with a strike rate of 79.62, KL Rahul struck 38 off 54 balls including 5 fours and a six with a strike rate of 70.37.

West Indies 1st Innings Bowling:

1st Innings West Indies all out for 248 in 81.5 overs with Alick Athanaze was the top-scorer with 41 off 84 balls included 5 fours and a six, Tagenarine Chanderpaul added 34 off 67 balls with 4 fours and a six, while Shai Hope remained a unbeaten 31 off 46 balls hitting 5 fours.

Anderson Phillip added a unbeaten 24 off 93 balls with two-fours, Khary Pierre made 23 off 46 balls including 3 fours, Tevin Imlach hit 21 off 67 balls with 3 fours, and Justin Greaves struck 17 off 20 balls hitting three-fours.

India 1st Innings Bowling:

For India, Kuldeep Yadav was the best bowler for India in the first Innings - who claiming a five-wicket haul for 82 runs in 26.5 overs included 4 maidens, Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets for 46 runs in 19 overs with 5 maidens, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah each shared one-wicket.

West Indies 2nd Innings Batting (Follow-On):

2nd Innings West Indies posted 390 all out in 118.5 overs with John Campbell was the top-scorer with a brilliant 115 off 199 balls - his first Test century - featuring 12 fours and 3 sixes.

Shai Hope contributed 103 off 214 balls - his third Test hundred and first against India hitting 12 fours & 2 sixes, Justin Greaves remained a unbeaten 50 off 85 balls with three boundaries, Roston Chase added 40 off 72 balls featuring 4 fours & a six, Jayden Seales struck 32 off 67 balls including a six and a four.

India 2nd Innings Bowling:

For India, Jasprit Bumrah was the best bowler for India in the second innings - who taking 3 wickets for 44 runs in 17.5 overs contained 5 maidens, Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets, Mohammed Siraj claimed 2-wickets, Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket each.

India 2nd Innings Batting:

In reply Chasing 121, India chased down 124 for 3 in 35.2 overs with KL Rahul was the top-scorer with a superb unbeaten 58 off 108 balls featuring 6 fours and 2 sixes, Sai Sudharsan added 39 off 76 balls with 5 fours and Shubman Gill contributed 13 off 15 balls contained a six and a four.

West Indies 2nd Innings Bowling:

For West Indies, Roston Chase was the best bowler for West Indies in the second innings - who took two wickets and Jomel Warrican claimed 1 wicket.

Player of the match & series:

Kuldeep Yadav was named Player of the Match for his excellent spin bowling performance to claiming 8 wickets in the match.

Ravindra Jadeja earned Player of the Series for his all-round performance to taking 8 wickets and scoring an unbeaten century in the first Test match.
