  • India’s total of 167 was their ninth highest score against Australia on Australian soil in T20Is and the highest score by any team at Carrara in T20Is. The previous highest at Carrara was 146 by Australia against the West Indies in 2022.
  • Australia’s 119 was their second lowest completed innings score against India in T20Is, after their 86 at Mirpur in the 2014 World Twenty20.
  • Australia lost their last seven wickets for just 28 runs, marking their third worst last seven-wicket collapse in T20Is and their worst such collapse against India in the format. They fell from 91 for 3 to 119 all out. Their previous worst collapse of this kind was seven wickets for 42 runs against India at Mirpur in the 2014 T20 World Cup.

Shivam Dube contributed 22 off 18 balls contained a six and a four, Axar Patel smashed a unbeaten 21 off 11 balls, while Suryakumar Yadav hammered a 20 off 10 balls hitting 2 sixes with a strike rate of 200.
