- India became the first team in T20 Asia Cup history to win a match inside the powerplay.
- India's 93-ball spare victory marked their largest win by terms of balls remaining in a T20 international, surpassing their previous best of 81-ball spare win against Scotland at the same venue during the 2021 T20 World Cup. It was also the biggest win ever in T20 Asia Cup history, eclipsing Afghanistan’s previous record of a 59-ball remaining win against Sri Lanka at the same venue in the 2022 T20 Asia Cup.
- India’s nine-wicket win was their joint third-largest victory by wickets remaining in T20 internationals. This marked the eighth time India has won by nine wickets. It was also the second occasion India defeated the UAE by nine wickets in T20Is, matching the UAE’s two nine-wicket wins in T20 Asia Cup history.
- The UAE’s 41 for 2 was their highest powerplay total against India in T20 internationals, surpassing their previous best of 21 for 2 at Mirpur in the 2016 T20 Asia Cup. However, their total of 57 was their lowest ever in T20 internationals, breaking their previous lowest of 62 against Scotland at Dubai (DICS) last year. It was also the second-lowest total in T20 Asia Cup history, after Hong Kong’s 38 against Pakistan at Sharjah in the 2022 T20 Asia Cup.
- The UAE’s 57 was the lowest-score by any team against India in T20 internationals, besting New Zealand’s 66 at Ahmedabad in 2023.
- Kuldeep Yadav’s 4 for 7 was his third-best bowling performance in T20 internationals and the best bowling figures by an Indian against the UAE in T20Is. The previous best was 2 for 8 by Bhuvneshwar Kumar at Mirpur in the 2016 T20 Asia Cup. It was also the second-best bowling figure by an Indian in T20 Asia Cup history, behind Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s 4 for 5 against Afghanistan at the same venue in 2022.
- This match lasted just 17.4 overs between UAE and India at Dubai, making it the shortest completed match in T20 Asia Cup history. The previous shortest non-reduced match was between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan at the same venue in 2022, which lasted 29.5 overs.
- This was also the shortest T20I involving India, excluding rain-affected games. The previous shortest was against Scotland in 2021, which lasted 24.1 overs.

India chased down the target comfortably, scoring 60 for 1 in 4.3 overs with Abhishek Sharma was the top-scorer with whirlwind 30 runs off 16 balls, including 3 sixes and 2 fours, with a strike rate of 187.50.
