Adam Zampa’s four-wicket haul and Xavier Bartlett’s three wickets, Fifties from Matthew Short - who scored a career-best 74, Cooper Connolly’s maiden unbeaten fifty and Mitchell Owen’s quick-fire 36 off 23 balls helped to Australia hard-fought two-wicket win over India and Australia took an unbeatable 2-0 lead to clinch the series in a see-saw game during the second One-day international.

Shreyas Iyer contributed 61 off 77 balls included 7 fours, while Axar Patel struck 44 off 41 balls including five fours with a strike rate of 107.31, Harshit Rana smashed a unbeaten 24 off 18 balls contained 3 fours and Arshdeep Singh added 13 off 14 balls with 2 fours.

Australia Bowling:

For Australia, Adam Zampa was the best bowler for Australia - who picked up 4 wickets for 60 runs in 10 overs,  Xavier Bartlett captured 3 wickets for 39 runs in 10 overs included a maiden with an economy rate of 3.90 and Mitchell Starc claimed 2 wickets.

Australia chased down 265 for 8 in 46.2 overs with Matthew Short smashed a career-best 74 off 78 balls featuring 4 fours and 2 sixes, Cooper Connolly smashed a unbeaten 61 off 53 balls contained with 5 fours and a six with a strike rate of 115.09.

Mitchell Owen blasted a 36 off 23 balls featuring 3 sixes and 2 fours with a striking rate of 156.52, Matt Renshaw hit a run-a-ball 30 runs contained a six and a four, while Travis Head scored 28 off 40 balls with one-six and a four.

India Bowling:

For India, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana was the best bowler's for India - each taking 2 wickets, while Mohammed Siraj and Axar Patel claimed one wicket apiece.

Player of the match:

Adam Zampa was named Player of the Match for his superb spin bowling performance to taking 4 wickets for 60 runs in 10 overs.
