Gavaskar, Sandeep, Yashpal and Ashok Malhotra help India historic series win

Sunil Gavaskar and Sandeep Patil both scored fifties, while a unbeaten 47-run partnership for the sixth wicket between Yashpal Sharma and debutant Ashok Malhotra helped India thumping five-wicket win over England. This win clinched India’s historic first-ever bilateral ODI series by 2-1 in the series-deciding game during third & final ODI.
