India all out for 345 runs in 111.1 overs with Debutant Shreyas Iyer - who starred on his debut Test match with a brilliant 105 off 171 balls, marking his maiden Test century - including 13 fours and two sixes.
Shubman Gill contributed a solid 52 off 93 balls with five fours and a six, while Ravindra Jadeja scored 50 runs off 112 balls featuring six fours.
Ravichandran Ashwin added 38 off 56 balls contained five fours, Ajinkya Rahane made 35 off 63 balls featuring 6 fours and Cheteshwar Pujara scored 26 off 88 balls with 2 boundaries.

Tim Southee was the best bowler for New Zealand - who claiming a five-wicket haul for 69 runs in 27.4 overs including six maidens, Kyle Jamieson took 3 wickets and Ajaz Patel picked up 2 wickets.

New Zealand all out for 296 in 142.3 overs with Tom Latham was the top-scorer with 95 off 282 balls - who falling just five runs short of a century with 15 fours.
